30 Day Shred {Week 5}


30 Day Shred {Week 5}
Well it is the end of the 30 Day Shred Challenge. I am so glad that I joined in on this challenge it was exactly what I needed!
I am proud of myself for waking up at 5:40am and getting the work out done everyday...yuppp everyday...for the next month I have not decided if I am going to do the ripped in 30 or no more trouble zones both by Jillian Michaels but I am doing something that is for sure...November will be here before I know it and I will fit into that bikini and rock it...With that being said...here are my results.... recap...

My Before Measurements:
•Arms: {L} 12.5 {R} 12.5
•Legs: {L} 24.25 {R} 24.25
•Waist: 38
•Waist Lower: 44.5
•Hips: 43

I am soooo surprised. That Jillian was right if you follow this DVD you will see Results and that I did... you cant really tell by the photo but I can sure tell by my clothes... The capris I am wearing are a medium.. I have not worn a medium in a very very long time..
Here is my After photo. (taken by my 5 year old DH was not home)

My After Measurements:
•Arms: {L} 11.75 {R} 11.75
•Legs: {L} 23 {R} 23
•Waist: 35
•Waist Lower: 40
•Hips: 41

I am not very comfortable revealing my weight but I am happy to announce that since the beginning of June and doing this challenge I have lost 5.5 pounds and a total of 14.5 pounds since starting the 30 day shred May 1st


I just want to thank Sarah from http://naptimemomtog.com/ for hosting this challenge without seeing your post on June 1st I am not sure what I would have done this past month...but having that motivation and other women doing this challenge certainly helped..

30 Day Shred {Week 4} Plus a couple of days

Yes...plus a couple of day...was suppose to do my weekly post on Thursday but it has been one of those weeks... Thursday I rode the "Big Bike" for Heart and Stroke..with my Friend Amanda and her Husband Brent for Inspire Marketing....it was so much fun..then Friday I went on a field trip with LittleKs Class...60 kids at a farm...what a fun day that was...and then Friday night Greg and I went to see USS ~ a Toronto Band at the Studio Theatre in Hamilton... and then YESTERDAY...Saturday...this co-insides with Re-Shaping it All...Yesterday Greg, the Boys and I were all baptised together...it was a great day...we really wanted Stephen to perform the service before he and his wife Pleuntje move to Belgium ... it was a great day... We will miss them...they leave on the 6th of July...and I think I have asked them that question 12 times already ... "so when are you leaving??"
Now on to Today...I have completed most of my goals...but with a busy week it was hard to do some of them...
But yes I have completed the Shred work out everyday this week... and to me that is the most important goal...
and on to this weeks goals....

is to continue continuing on... with all the goals... we are on the home stretch...and June 30th is around the corner... YEAH!! can't wait to see the difference in my measurements from June 1st to June 30th...

The best part of doing the challenge...is it is bettering me as a person..and I am only gaining confidence and something else to add a healthy lifestyle...

30 Day Shred {Week 3}

Week 3 plus a day...Yesterday at work was our year end celebration for the girls that attend school here so it was kind of a crazy day...so I did not get a chance to post so here it is....

Last week my goals re-cap
•Drink more water I am trying for 10 cups per day
•Do exercises at my desk during the day
•Wake up Earlier to do the 30day Shred DVD before work...and on weekends... 5:40 am...(AHHH)
•Instead of sitting down and watching the boys soccer...I am going to walk the field...at least at practises
And All Completed.... YEAH!!!

I am excited to see my results in 14 days....

My Goals for next week: Along with continuing with my previous weeks goals I would like to.......

•Eat more Fruits I don't get enough....
•No eating after 8pm (I was doing really well with this and have slipped a few times so this is the week to get back on track)
•Add another few 100 steps to my day....

This is the type of Bikini that I would like to wear on our Family Vacation in November. I can see myself wearing this and I know that I will be there. November is 5 months away...

Scrap~tures June Reveal... A little late but better then NEVER.....

As soon as I saw this kit I knew I wanted to do a layout about my new life...and these are my new daily tools...how great that this paper is called Simple Stories Life Documented..My life is simple..and with a little help (ok a lot of help) from Jillian Michaels and her DVD 30 Day Shred. I have started a new out look on life and getting fit...
For my base paper I used Colorful (Colourful **If you are from Canada like me...) Life how perfect that there is a slight calendar faded behind...and then for my accent paper I used 100% real life... and yes that is me.. 100% real...I used the Ranger Cranberry Colour wash on some of my letters and on the Fancy Pants Artists Edition Pinking Edge Coffee Filters... I love how this makes them pop off the page...I also was able to use the Copics Multiliner Sepia Pen to write the 30 days of the month on one of the calendars on the background paper...these papers are certainly perfect for my simple type of scrapbooking I can not wait to dig into the rest of the kit... But I am saving it for LauraLee's Blog Class... Check back to the Scrap~tures blog for more details....

Here is an up close look at the vibrant colour the Ranger Cranberry Colour Wash Spray is...I love the dark vibrant colour it created...with just a few sprays...



And here is a look at the Copics Multiliner Sepia Pen...I love that it was thin...and able to write inside the little calendar boxes....




So...On to some news about Scrap~tures...I am sure most of you have heard that Denise...has sold her business...To Christa...I am so glad that Scrap~tures is not going anywhere and that we will still be able to get these awesome kits...Denise you have been a great FRIEND to work for I have loved every kit that you ever sent me.....Thank you and all the best in your new journey of life where ever that will lead you...And I look forward to more kits to come...

30 Day Shred {Week 2}

I can't believe we are at week 2 already... and today was the last day of work out ONE!! I love workout ONE!!! I have been able to keep up and do it everyday...Still doing the beginner push ups..but I do try one or two regular ones...but that is as far as I get...Bring on Level TWO....

I have to say that I am proud of myself for someone who never used to work out at all to be on Day 9 of Month number 2 of the 30 day Shred...Wow that is a huge accomplishment... I have the motivation and the drive to succeed in this adventure. I have had a lot of help.. after reading Re-Shaping it all by Candace Cameron Bure http://www.reshapingitallwithcandace.blogspot.com/
which opened my eyes and kept them open...And of course the support of Greg (My DH) and the boys...How could I fail... I have always said that the only thing I am going to gain through all of this is confidence and that I have...

My Goals for next week:

30 day Shred BEFORE....

Ok...So this is a big step for me to put this out there for everyone... {Week 1}

Last month I started the 30 day shred work out and loved it...and so the challenge continues..

There you have it... I am super excited to see the results at the end of this month...
Last night during my work out I was super proud of myself that I was able to complete level 1 with out stopping... Bring it on Jillian...
**I completed the 30 day shred last month with results of an 8 pound loss however I am sad to say that I did not take my measurements...but my clothes need a belt to hold them up... so that is a great motivator to keep going... along with this I will continue to seek guidance through reading Re-Shaping it all...

My goal is to be bikini ready for NOV. for my Brother in Laws Wedding in Punta Cana....

I am Doing the 30 day Shred June 1-30



Yes you have read this correctly.... I am going to do the shred again... After completing it in May I felt so energized and rejuvenated...but thought hey what is the next step...What do I do now...then I was led to this blog via my blog reader .... http://thepapermama.blogspot.com/2011/06/living-healthy-continuing-my-30-day.html#idc-container
