Creating... with Scrap~tures

Well this Saturday is National Scrapbook Day and it is going to be a Scraptures Members Choice Day... so what that means you ask,,,, well.... it means that the members of the Scraptures community (if you are not a part of this fun community well all you have to do is sign up.... at http://www.scraptures.ca/) are in charge yupp... free range of challenges, tutorials, scrap~hour, mini crop what ever you decide..... I will be there along with memebers of the creative team.. and I hope to see new faces there as well.. can't wait for all the fun to start... so get your creative thinking caps on Ladies and lets create..... Members Choice....

Imaginisce and Tombo....Prize winnings...

Back in March, Imaginisce and Tombo joined together for a week of inspiration on their blogs and Facebook. On March 29th I noticed that I had won, one of the prizes that they were giving away.. just by posting comments on Facebook about all the creative inspiration that their designers shared with their fans..... Well the package that I was waiting for arrived today... and OMG.... I have to tell you the package was filled with the entire line..from Imaginisce Splash Dance....it is so fun.. I can not wait to start to create with it... A huge thank you to Tombow and Imaginisce for such a wonderful prize...

ScrapFest 2010

All I am going to say is WOW....I had a great time with my friends...ran into friends met some new friends and ... I met some wonderful designers and creators ... and ones that I will never ever forget Kiki and Sarah from Kiki Art.. what a great time I had spending with the two of you in your booth doing your make n takes...... I am so proud that there is a Canadian Company like Kiki Art to produce Scrapbooking Supplies... I really can't wait to use the product that I bought.. especially the fun tape... how fun.. Catherine and the Gang from Scrapbook and Cards Today... so glad to have been able to have the chance to talk with you..you are all so very welcoming and inspirational... and thanks to your magazine for all the wonderful ideas.... can't wait to chat with you again sometime..
And then to Sue Sykes.... What a great class.. I enjoyed the workshop the laughs and finally meeting you in real life.. you are such a wonderful person and I am glad that I had the opportunity to have met you...
I can not forget the hugs that I got from .... Karyn.. Rhonda... and of course going to the booths of all the vendors... and spending time doing make n takes.. what a great inspirational well needed weekend...
I can not wait to attend next years Scrapfest...

Scrap~tures April 2010 Reveal....

I was so excited to use this kit... Fresh Print Clothesline by Little Yellow Bicycle... such great spring colours and after a long winter it was nice to take new pictures to go with the new paper... here are my layouts that I created for Scrap~tures...

Well it is that time again...

Time for me to create with the Scrap~tures monthly kit for the reveal which is the April 10th...I had a little bit of trouble.... so I got Little K and took him outside and took his pictures... he is very photogenic however not very co-operative... but I got some great shots of him...Love the natural sun light...here is my favourite...but you have to wait to see the other ones on my layout in the reveal...
